SMS terms & privacy
- Program: Pingr sends personal-assistant text messages — reminders, check-ins, and replies to messages you send.
- How to opt in: Directly on this page, or inside the Pingr app, you type your own
mobile number into a form field and check a consent box confirming you want text reminders.
The box is never pre-checked, and the form cannot be submitted until you check it. The box
sits directly above the submit button and carries this disclosure: "You agree to receive
recurring automated text messages from Pingr (reminders and check-ins) at the number above.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates
may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help." Your number is then verified with a
one-time passcode, so only the owner of the number can opt in. Pingr never obtains phone
numbers from purchased lists, partners, or any other third-party source.
- No marketing: Pingr sends only messages you asked for, about your own reminders and
tracking. We send no marketing, promotional, or affiliate texts, we never send messages on
behalf of another business, and we never sell, rent, or share your phone number or your SMS
consent with third parties for any purpose.
- Free plan: Tracking and reminders run as in-app push notifications — no text messages are sent, and two-way texting isn't available on Free.
- Paid plans: Unlock real SMS delivery and texting Pingr back and forth to log food or tasks. Each plan includes a set number of text messages per day (the rest of your check-ins can still run as free push); higher plans include more.
- Message frequency: Recurring, based on the reminders you configure. Frequency varies by plan and by what you set up — typically a handful of messages a day at most.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from texts. Reply HELP for help. This works on every plan.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Privacy: We use your number only to operate Pingr. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
