This Privacy Policy explains how Pingr ("Pingr," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our SMS reminder and tracking service and mobile application. Pingr is operated by David L Davis Jr (sole proprietor), Charlotte, NC.

SMS consent is never shared. The mobile opt-in information and consent you provide to receive text messages from Pingr will not be shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for any purpose.

Information We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run the service:

Phone number — to send you the SMS reminders and check-ins you request.
Account information — a name you choose and any goals, to-dos, or food entries you send us, so the assistant can track them for you.
Message content — the texts you send Pingr, used to log your entries and respond to you.

How We Use Your Information

To send the reminders, nudges, and check-ins you schedule.
To log the food, tasks, and goals you send by message.
To personalize the assistant's responses (for example, greeting you by name or referencing your stated goal).
To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

Automated Processing & AI

Pingr uses automated systems, including AI-based natural-language processing, to interpret the messages you send and to generate the logs, responses, and estimates described above. The content of the messages you send to Pingr is processed by these systems in order to provide the service.

SMS / Text Messaging

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Pingr, including reminders, task nudges, and calorie-tracking check-ins. Message frequency varies based on the pings you set up. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email us at the address below. Opting out will stop text messages; your in-app account remains active.

We do not share your SMS consent or phone number with third parties. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate (for example, our SMS delivery provider and cloud hosting), and only as needed to provide the service. SMS opt-in consent is never shared with anyone.

Data Retention & Security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data.

Your Choices

Opt out of texts any time by replying STOP.
Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us.

Children's Privacy

Pingr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
